Amy Briggs and Russell Wade, Amy and Russell's New Zealand Adventure, Travelled on 17 Mar 2026

Mount Cook was the highlight, due to its natural beauty and the perfect views from a fairly new hotel room window and the fortune of perfect weather for viewing the mountain in the afternoon and morning light. All other attractions and hotel stays were worthwhile and good valued. Dave the bus driver was instrumental in creating a good group comaraderie. All beds were nice and allowed restful sleep.
Alfred was helpful at every stage and so were the in-country support team members. “Alfred the Great” is a fair accolade for his efforts.

Lisa Baker, Grand Pacific 11 Day Ultimate Warbirds Over Wanaka Tour, Travelled on 31 Mar 2026

Our driver, Paul Campion, was fantastic. Very friendly and very safe driver. The commentary was informative. Regular comfort stops were a bonus. Really enjoyed our first tour bus holiday.

Kathleen McGinty, Waitomo, Rotorua & Hobbiton Highlights, Travelled on 6 Apr 2026

I thoroughly enjoyed the Eco Thermal Park tour which was as absolutely stunning. The guide is an environmental engineer and shared his knowledge of everything volcanic and geothermal to the plant and animal environment in the area.
Once again Chelsea thank you so much for putting together such a detailed and well thought out customised itinerary for me. You left nothing out so I was able to follow the itinerary without any problems. This was very beneficial for me, especially as I was travelling alone. I am very happy to recommend you to any of my family and friends or anyone wanting a 5 star rating travel advisor.

Kathleen McGinty, Bay of Islands Escape, Travelled on 1 Apr 2026

With the Hole In The Rock cruise, the cruise crew spotted some dolphins and stopped the boat. There were probably about 7 dolphins, including a baby one. They put on a show for everyone - synchronised jumping out of the water, and coming right up to the boat - which was absolutely amazing- a definite highlight for me.
Thank you Chelsea for putting together such a well planned out and professional customised itinerary for me.

Jeffrey & Helen Harris, Grand Pacific 10 Day Ultimate South Island, Travelled on 23 Mar 2026

Our highlights were the West Coast with the Fox Helicopter ride and the Haast Jetboat ride. The coach and Paul, the driver, were brilliant, and the best bed - Hermitage at Mt Cook and the view from those rooms.

Colleen and Delilah Wright, Granddaughter's Ultimate South to North Adventure, Travelled on 2 Apr 2026

For myself, my favourite experiences were everything we did in Rotorua - everything you recommended are a must-do - the Māori cultural experience and the eco thermal tours were fantastic. Delilah loved it all especially the ziplining - for me, that was a crazy mix of fear and exhilaration. I loved Wellington, especially the Weta Studio tour (I’d kill to work there). Zealandia was pretty special as well. All the hotels were great - I think I’d rate the Bolton the best. And all your pick-up and tour drivers were fantastic, especially John Barry in Wellington, who gave us a tiki-tour of the area.
Shelby, thank you so much for all the excellent communication, effort, and patience you put into this trip for Delilah and myself, I truly appreciate everything you did. Thank you so much!

Stephen & Cheryl Sainsbury, Grand Pacific Tours 19 Day Ultimate Rail, Coach & Cruise, Travelled on 16 Mar 2026

Everything went superbly! Attention to detail was evident at every stop. Megan was an outstanding driver and guide.
Small group trips are the best way to go!

Felicity Jackson, Grand Pacific 14 Day Ultimate Best of the South Island, Travelled on 18 Mar 2026

Touring in the Ultimate coach was very comfortable, the hotels were excellent and the food was better than expected. Our driver was great and the highlight - if I had to pick one - was seeing Mount Cook in brilliant sunshine.

Elizabeth and Bruce Olson, Explore the Natural Wonders of the South Island..., Travelled on 22 Mar 2026

Everything was fantastic. It’s hard to say a favorite. Queenstown was glorious. The TSS Earnslaw dinner was excellent. The gondola is a must do. Mt. Cook Glacier Exploration and Stargazing were unforgettable as were the views of the mountains. Franz Josef Eco hike was fun and interesting even in the rain. All the drivers and guides from Cheeky Kiwi and independents were knowledgeable, friendly and punctual.
The hotels were excellent. Any questions we had during our trip were promptly answered by Russell Littleford. The itinerary created by Sabina Din was perfect. Thanks for a fabulous and memorable experience!

Ann Gluck & Alan Lesso, Scenic Southern Explorer, Travelled on 22 Mar 2026

There was so much! We really loved the scenery, the design of the tours, and many of the tour guides. We felt really taken care of! For instance, when we arrived in the middle of station in Dunedin, there was a tour guide waiting for us! We got premium seating on the Intercity, which was great! We really liked tour guides Renee and Joseph from Cheeky Kiwi and Andy and Chase from Altitude.
This was a great way to spend our brief time in New Zealand, so well organized! Thank you!

Debbie Baskerville and Janice Meers, Wanaka + South Island Adventure, Travelled on 10 Mar 2026

Everything was organized by Jess, we didn't have the trouble of researching and booking accommodation and activities ourselves. Our 4 trips with Cheeky Kiwi were really great. Knowledgeable drivers, and one trip there was just us 2 as other travellers had to cancel, the driver let us plan the whole day. All accommodation was very comfortable including beds and pillows.
The app worked very well, we referred to it constantly, to check pick up times and addresses, and admission to activities etc. We really loved our time in NZ and would recommend this company to anyone. We told lots of people we met about our booking process with Jess.

George & Roberta Longo, Grand Pacific 19 Day Signature Showcase, Travelled on 19 Feb 2026

Distinction in Christchurch! Beautiful room, food. The weather not great on the tour but that is something not controlled.
Beautiful country and feel humbled to have been a part of such a wonderful journey!! Queenstown was amazing and the canyon ride was great!

Rosemary & Kenneth McDougall, Queenstown to Dunedin to visit the Penguins!, Travelled on 21 Mar 2026

The Castle to Cruise Tour and Penguin experience was absolutely incredible! Our driver and tour guide were excellent, as well as the boat captain! They spoke clearly and gave just the right amount of information. We were blessed with seeing fur seals, sea lions, 2 different penguins, albatrosses flying, and many marine birds.
Thank you for working with us on planning this amazing trip! It was so nice to have everything organized and the App was extremely informative and helpful.

Carol Smith & John Cameron, AAT Kings: New Zealand Vista 25/26, Travelled on 10 Mar 2026

The tour guide and driver were excellent, and we always felt safe and well-informed. We loved the hotel at Picton and the town itself. The included experiences were excellent, especially the hangi in Rotorua and the farm experience at Queenstown.

Robin Collison & Judith Baker, Robin & Judith's Southern Circuit Self Drive Tour, Travelled on 1 Mar 2026

It's hard to choose a favourite experience because we enjoyed every single excursion & most of our accommodation exceeded our expectations. Dunedin Bells Apartments were a stand-out, though, as was Franz Josef. Absolutely amazing. Queenstown steamship & sheep show was fabulous! We also managed an amazing helicopter flight with a glacier landing from Franz Josef, which could also be included as an excursion.
Everything about our NZ experience was amazing & a trip that I will never forget. The car rental experience was seamless & the Ford puma met our needs. The itinerary app was a vital part of our trip.

Hubert Zinck, Grand Pacific 14 Day Signature Best of the South Island, Travelled on 2 Mar 2026

We saw a lot during the tour, cities (Christchurch, Dunedin), the Alps, the Fiordland with the Milford Sound, and the beautiful countryside of the South Island with the many lakes and varied landscapes. Best bed in the Invercargill Distinction Hotel !
I also greatly appreciated the comments made by Nick and Zayne during the tour, the constant availability of Nick to solve problems or deal with issues arising during the tour.

Philip Brain & Christina Doherty, Alternate South Island Scenic Rail & Wild Coast, Travelled on 5 Mar 2026

The whole trip was very well organised. The hotels are lovely and all very central. Lakeside luxury apartments were amazing, having a spectacular view over Lake Waikatipu. All beds were comfortable and the apartments were spacious. Train trips were great. A special shout out to Cheeky Kiwi whose guides were so friendly and informative (individual recognition to Lynette (into Queenstown) and Martin (into Franz Josef) who were wonderful)
I really appreciated the support received when my back was a concern after day 4 and I felt the long bus trip to Milford would have been too much for me. The day at rest (helped by a spa at Onsen) helped me recover to complete the trip with only mild discomfort. The promptness of the response to in-app messaging was exceptional.

Neil & Susan Duff, Pure Discoveries Pohutukawa Tour, Travelled on 14 Feb 2026

The thermal sites, especially the mud lakes, of Rotorua where mesmerising and the Tasmin Glacier was awesome. The entire trip exceeded our expectations in all regards. Mark our driver/guide was knowledgeable, enthusiastic and knew all the best view points. Overall a fantastic way to see New Zealand in a relaxed way.

Catherine Tsai & Andy Wass, The Great Divide: Queenstown, Milford Sound and Glacier Highlights, Travelled on 24 Feb 2026

The best part of our trip was that we could relax. Everything had been planned so meticulously. Each hotel was comfortable well located for easy accessibility to restaurants and activities. All activities had been planned and co-ordinated with plenty of time so that we never felt rushed and could enjoy each one. The App with our itinerary and on tour support was brilliant, it meant I always had our itinerary and booking details on hand and I could easily contact support if I had a question. I have been recommending New Zealand Coach Tours to everyone.

Paul & Catena Byrne-Jones, Southern Alps and Milford Sound Highlights, Travelled on 19 Feb 2026

All parts of the holiday were enjoyable because all of the places visited offered different perspectives of New Zealand. All of the accommodation, restaurants and attractions were excellent.
Really enjoyed travelling with Cheeky Kiwi, the travel guides were very informative and travelling in smaller groups was a pleasant surprise.
