You cruise across the harbour to the magnificent golden sand dunes, the perfect place to try sandboarding or walk along the deserted beach. Then cross to the East Coast to visit Kerikeri's historic Stone Store and Waitangi where Maori signed the Treaty with Queen Victoria's representatives in 1840.

Look out for dolphins on your relaxed cruise among the islands to Cape Brett and the famous "Hole in the Rock". You come ashore at Russell, a pretty town with a rollicking 19th century past, once known as the "Hell Hole of the Pacific" and the first capital of New Zealand. Later return by ferry to Paihia and Waitangi.
